Homeowners NOW Eligible for $500 Per Year Rebate for Energy Efficient Home Improvements including Solar

The City of Longwood, Florida has announced that beginning January 18th, 2012, it will be offering up to $500 a year rebate for homeowners who make energy efficient improvements. Improvements that qualify include;
Solar Panels and Photovoltaic (PV) Systems
Solar Water Heaters
To qualify, homeowners must use contractors located within the Longwood City limits and the home must be homeowner occupied. Solar products will qualify for up to 10% of costs in rebates (capped at $500 per year). Solar panels must be Energy Star labeled.
