The Florida SunSense Solar Rebate Program will begin accepting applications tomorrow. Because of the limited amount of rebates being offered there might not be anything left for anyone who waits. The program is being extended to current business and residential clients in Florida. The offer for commercial Solar is limited to new photovoltaic (PV) installations. The Florida SunSense Program for new residential installations can be for either PV or solar hot water systems.
What you will need:
Scan and email to Progress Energy
1. 2 page application
2. Solar site survey provided by the contractor or installer
3. Contractors quote
The email and attachment file must be under 10 MB in order for Progress Energy to receive it. Use .PDF or .jpeg files to submit. Executable files like zip files will not be delivered.
