The Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) in Orlando recently teamed up with Superior Solar to install some new and distinctive solar trees. The trees, created by Spotlight Solar, combine a strong industrial aesthetic with solar sustainability in order to provide a stunning statement about clean energy endorsement.
The Convention Center has always had a history of being environmentally-conscious--their rooftop solar panels generate 1.1 megawatts of power--but the facility wanted to get involved in spreading the word about solar energy. The trees, installed by Superior Solar, were a flashy and fun way to accomplish that goal, all while continuing to add to the OCCC’s solar generation.
Superior Solar is proud to have teamed up with these companies to get involved in generating public awareness about clean energy.
