Each of the state’s 3 solar rebate programs, Gainesville Regional Utility, Progress Energy and Tampa Electric Company, ran out of rebate money the first day applications were accepted this year. Gainesville Regional Utility ended up using a lottery to award the rebates. The solar rebate allotment that Florida Power and Light will be dispensing is similar to the other power company solar rebate programs. Having been involved with the other programs, Superior Solar Systems can help you navigate the application and give you a complete understanding of the process.
